Tea Appreciation:

I love tea. There is something so comforting about it. I am quite fond of Tetley teas, they are always excellent. Also, Superstore’s (a chain grocers) President’s Choice brand makes some nice teas too for example:

This one is delicious.

The Tetley Rooibos doesn’t contain vanilla but comes in a tin with a snap close lid so it always stays fresher than those teas that are boxed. I am also a fan of Tetley as they have a program called the “Ethical Tea Partnership”, which implements and enforces the countries labour laws, etc in the cultivation and processing of the teas they make. If you want to read more go to here.  President’s Choice Green Tea is also fair trade.

So, I now have the opportunity to maybe go to London, England (so much tea to be had there!) in August. I have already been there once, however,  we were only there for two days. One of which those days was spent trying to truck through the day in London which was actually my night/sleep time. I don’t remember much, just having too much caffeine. I am extremely excited as I love seeing new places. I love travelling. Topshop, Miss Selfridge, Primark & Boots here I come! There is so much history in England, and so much I want to see that I didn’t get to see last time. Last time we saw the standard tourist stuff like Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, West Minster Abbey (although we didn’t go inside last time). So far summer has been pretty good.

On Sunday, Courtney and I went wedding dress shopping. I can’t believe my best friend is getting married. It makes me feel so old, and it is a scary feeling! Either way, I’m not the one who is getting married so the scary feelings are overwhelmed with my feelings of joy for my friend. We went to Ethos downtown, and tried on about 8 dresses. However, nothing compared to the first one she tried on. I got teary-eyed because I’m such a baby and she looked so gorgeous. I really hope that is “one”. The dress came with this terrible long sleeved lace shrug to put on with the dress. It ruined the whole dress and we kind of grabbed it just as a last thought because we needed one more dress to try on. Who knew it would be the best one!
