Finnigan

On Saturday Carson and I bought a lovebird.  Everyone I have told went, “what, why did you get a bird and not a REAL pet”. Well, I actually wasn’t a bird person myself; I had a traumatic experience at Petland about a month ago, that involved a beak, blood and tears. I am a wimp, basically. However, it was Carson’s idea to get a lovebird and after I researched about them I actually was excited! They are extremely intelligent and have so much personality. Once a lovebird bonds to you they bond to you for life. Anyways, we drove to Acme and got a 3 month old baby Creamino lovebird. His name is Finn (that is the only name Carson and I could agree on). He is adorable and he has taken my heart already. He does the silliest, funniest things (eating upside, falling in his water dish). He has this little plastic cat toy ball with a bell inside with assorted holes in it so he always chews on it, but he gets so into chewing on it he decides he has to stand on it (probably so it doesn’t get away) but it’s a ball so obviously it rolls. So he stands on it, it rolls and he falls. It is incredibly cute and he just does it again right after! Carson loves him too, and Finn loves Carson. He snuggles with Carson. You can’t see it in the picture but he also is a bit yellow. It looks like he was colored on with a highlighter. Anyways, this is him:
