Russia

I find Russian history so fascinating. Alexander Solzhenitsyn wrote and shed light on the history of gulags while the government at the time tried to erase that part of history. He was a very important part of Russian history and culture. I have read A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich and am currently reading The Gulag Archipelago. It is utterly fascinating. Anyways, this article is really interesting not only about Solzhenitsyn but Russian history in general.

This weekend I went Fairmont Hot Springs with Kathleen, Liz, Kenzie and Molly. I had so much. We did so much tanning, swimming and laughing. It was a lot of fun and because I have felt so stuck in a rut waiting for school start it was something I really needed to break up the monotony of my daily life. Perhaps I’ll post a picture or two when I load them onto my computer.

First semester of school is all paid for and gosh, it feels good. It’s completely paid for and I still have so much money to pay for the rest of school. I am really happy with the way my life is unfolding with school, Carson, and my friends… etc. I just can’t wait until school starts!

On a completely unrelated note I actually just ate the best tuna sub from Subway. I have a tuna addiction which is weird considering last year I despised tuna. I like lots of food I never used to like. Salmon and tuna mostly.
