Dress.

My beautiful dress came. It’s even more gorgeous in person. And it fits me really well. I am in love with it. It’s a little wrinkly from the shipping so I will have to get steamed.

 

 

That is the dress. And the shoes.
The only problem is the dress bottom is more of a coral color instead of the color it looks in the picture. I will go home and try it with the shoes and if not I will wear a black pair of heels or a white pair. Black or white if the pink shoes don’t work out?

I have so much to do at work today but no motivation. I always manage to finish my work though even when I feel like this. I get to play travel agent today and I like organizing a trip together for whomever. However the lady at the Travelodge call center was not very friendly when I was trying to book a room for Saskatoon. She also had a very crackly voice. Too much smoking, I guess.

I got my hair done yesterday by a new hairdresser. My normal hair stylist was on a leave of absence as she had to get surgery. This new lady did such a wonderful job but so does Jen! Now I don’t know whom to go to again. They both do such a good job and are both so nice and easy to get along with. Maybe I should alternate between them. It’s like going through a divorce all over again and picking which parent!

This blog makes me sound very shallow which I would like to point out to an extent I am, but for the most part I’m not. I am just concerned with looking half decent at this wedding/for summer.

I picked all my courses for school last week and I am very excited to start school again. I have some really good classes. For example, I have Russian Civilization and Thought:

“Major aspects contributing to the development of Russian civilization and thought.”

I am very excited for this course. I also will have a couple classes with my friend Mackenzie because we are in the same major so that will be nice. The only thing that is not nice is this notice I see when I open my Student portal:

Rain

   After a weekend of nice weather I kind of expected it to be nice out today. So I threw my shorts on and went upstairs. What a mistake that was. It is rainy and a chilling 10 degrees celcius. Just a short two days ago I was getting a sunburn at Virgin Festival. Needless to say it was extremely disappointing this morning since it had been raining previous to the weekend’s nice weather for about 3 weeks straight. Last time I checked this wasn’t Vancouver or Seattle. Anyways, point of the story is that I wanted to shorts and actually ended up wearing jeans. 

   I am getting my hair done tonight, I really like the length so I’m just going to get a trim and maybe some highlights and lowlights put in. I can’t decide whether to grow my bangs out or keep them. My life is full of hard choices. =)

   I ordered a dress for my boyfriend’s cousins wedding off of Forever21.com and I am patiently waiting for it to arrive. I hope it fits and looks good on me, that is the problem with internet ordering. If it fits weird I am going to Forever21 in West Edmonton Mall and hopefully I can find another dress. I already bought pink high heels to match that dress though! So it better fit, pretty much. It said my order was shipped yesterday and I hope it arrives today.  I also ordered my boyfriend (Carson) an xbox game from ebay and I hope that comes soon too. He couldn’t find this game, Pirates of the Caribbean (before the movies came out) anywhere (because it’s old and rare), but it only came to $13 on ebay. So I hope that comes soon because that will make him happy.
